Liscannor and the Cliffs of Moher
Leaving the seaside surfer's paradise of Lahinch and walking through Liscannor we begin our apporach to the Cliffs of Moher from the south. These constantly changing cliffs offer outstanding views from the south as well as the north. Passing through the tourist destination gives an opportunity to visit the gift shop and have a cup of tea. Leaving the tourists behind we are able to walk in peace along the narrow trails with the ocean and mysterious Aran Islands to our left and Irish farmlands to the right. Doolin to the north and its reputation for excellent traditional music sessions beckons.
